The Cup Carnival may have come and gone, but the good racing continues this weekend, headlined by the Group 1 Thousand Guineas and Sir Rupert Clarke, with I Am Me flying the stable flag in the latter after an excellent run in the Manikato last time out.

Good luck to those having a bet!

RACE 6

2. Brave Mead | J: Mark Zahra

He drops back to the more suitable trip of 1400m here, albeit from that relatively wide draw, we’ll more than likely head back with Run Harry Run, Don’t Hope Do and The Instructor all capable of running these along at a decent clip. Our key danger in Arkansaw Kid looks hard to beat dropping back in grade, but he is stepping up to the 1400m for the first time, giving us hope we’ll be the one hitting the line stronger. We’re a top-two chance but can’t play at the current quote.

DANGERS: ARKANSAW KID, SNAPBACK
