7. Future History | J: Craig WilliamsThe horse that made a lot of headlines this week as owner Peter Trainor made shares in the Melbourne Cup-qualified runner available, with 10% going for $205,000! We’re not worried about that though, as he has a chance to win his second race in a row and come into the Cup in red-hot form. Craig Williams stays on and given such a wide draw, we have decided to settle him back from the wide gate. There’s more speed on paper here than last time, but there are a lot of runners out of form, so we expect him to be running on strongly. He’s rock-hard fit, but with the Cup in mind, we wouldn’t tip you into him at the price.
