9. Socks Nation | J: John AllenThere are plenty of first starters in this race, so it’s difficult to get a read on the likely speed and the depth of ability here. What we do know is Socks Nation has improved off her first-up run, and we expect an improved showing coming from the synthetic to the grass surface here. This is a city maiden in early Spring, so don’t expect it to be easy. We’re happy to watch and cheer in the opener.
