Doomben plays host to Wednesdays midweek meeting and we have good chances in three races on the card. Hell and Back looks to break through for his Maiden win in race three and Damo Dayz aims to return to his best in the last.

10. Hell And Back | J: James OrmanHell And Back is first up and was very impressive when winning a trial at Doomben a fortnight ago. Jimmy Orman takes the ride, and he will be looking to roll forward and find a position one off the fence from the wide barrier. He has improved significantly from last preparation and if he can get some luck early, we expect him to be the one to beat.

14. Zougo Boss | J: Ryan MaloneyZougo Boss makes his race day debut after two trials and a jumpout. Ryan Maloney rides and he will go back and find cover from the wide draw. He should take plenty of benefit from this first up run but with the right run in transit, we expect him to be hitting the line well.

17. Exceed Speed | J: Michael RoddExceed Speed resumes and was strong through the line when finishing second in a trial over 1000m at Caloundra three weeks ago. Michael Rodd takes the ride, and he maps to get a nice run from barrier six. With even luck in running, he should be very competitive first up here.
