This week, Midweek Metropolitan racing returns to Eagle Farm for a huge 10 race card. It is a relatively quiet day for the stable with just five runners across the day. Queensway makes her raceday debut, and Kinetic will be looking for back to back wins after her impressive second up win at Ipswich a fortnight ago.

8. Sonic Light | J: Ben ThompsonSonic Light did it tough from the wide draw first up at Ipswich. He did a lot of work in the run, and did well to beat a few home when finishing sixth behind impressive winner Ring Of Steel. With a more conservative ride, we expect an improved performance here.

9. Queensway | J: Ms Angela JonesQueensway makes her raceday debut here. She trialled nicely at Doomben three weeks ago, and her work since shows she is capable of a strong performance first up. The 1200m and the big track will suit her, and we expect her to be right in the finish.
DANGERS: 1. CRAZY BRAVE, 7. HELIKEDEMPRETTY
2. Kronenbourg | J: Ben ThompsonKronenbourg returns to the races after a month between runs, and steps up to the 1800m for the first time. His last start run at Ipswich was terrific, and this track and distance looks like it will suit him perfectly. He will likely find himself worse than midfield with cover, and be very strong late. This is a competitive race, but we expect him to be an excellent winning chance.

12. Kinetic | J: Ben ThompsonKinetic steps up to the mile after an outstanding win at Ipswich a fortnight ago. She has won at Eagle Farm before, and from the low draw and step up in distance, she will put herself a lot closer in the run. There is no reason why she won’t run out a strong 1600m, making her one of the key chances in a race like this.

2. Tick Tock Queen | J: Ryan MaloneyTick Tock Queen returns to the track and distance of her win in the Stradbroke Handicap qualifying race, The Gateway. She was terrific first up, running the fastest last 600m of the race. The step up to 1400m will suit her, but she has once again drawn wide. Ryan Maloney takes the ride and provided he can find a nice position from the barrier, she should be right in the finish of a race like this.
