The Englishman | J: Sam ClippertonAfter some near misses in metropolitan maidens last preparation, The Englishman resumes here over the 1300m off the back of one soft trial at Randwick on the 3rd of April. We identified this horse as having some staying quality following his last preparation and see him heading toward a Queensland Derby this time in. Having only had the one trial, we're expecting him to take immense improvement from the run, but we do see his class taking him a long way in a race like this.
